Pedestrians hit by Vehicle in Erlanger

By Attorney Paul J. Dickman posted in Pedestrian Accidents on Wednesday, December 14, 2011

A child and an adult have been hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Erlanger.

The incident happened just after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Dixie Highway and Kenton Lands Road.

The child has been taken to Children’s Hospital and the adult was taken to a Tri-State hospital.

There is no word on the extent of the injuries and the names and ages of the victims have not been released. The is no word on whether or not the driver of the vehicle was injured.

These kind of cases are the reason for insurance. The combination of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Coverage, third party liability coverage, and medical insurance- if handled properly – should more than adequately cover any injuries from these types of unfortunate incidents.
