Bus carrying 40 students involved in rear-end collision

A bus carrying 40 children was recently involved in an accident in a nearby Kentucky town.

The accident happened in the afternoon as the bus carried elementary school students from Price and Indian Trail elementary schools. According to reports, the bus was at an intersection when it was rear-ended by another vehicle.

Two children were injured in the accident. They were taken to Kosair Children’s Hospital to be examined.

The bus was not damaged in the accident. Police did take down an accident report. They will presumably continue to investigate exactly what caused the accident.

If the driver of the car that struck the bus is found to have been negligent, they may face a personal injury lawsuit for causing injuries to the two young children on the bus. When drivers act recklessly, they should be held accountable for their actions.

People in Kentucky and elsewhere who have been involved in a rear-end collision may wish to work with an experienced attorney. Although it may be easier to prove who was at fault in a rear-end collision, an attorney can work to be sure those that are injured in an accident receive the necessary compensation they deserve.

Car accidents happen every day, but that doesn’t make them any less frightening. When someone is in a car accident, their injuries can be life-changing. People may not be able to work, and large medical bills may create financial difficulties. Luckily, there are places to turn for help, and an attorney can help people return to a normal life.
