Fatal car accident along Kentucky border

A weekend car accident on Interstate 164 has left three people dead.

The fatal car accident happened along the border of Kentucky and Indiana, and involved three different vehicles. According to police, a northbound vehicle crossed the median and struck another car in the southbound lane. One witness said the accident happened so quickly that the southbound vehicle didn’t have a chance to get out of the way.

Three people were killed in the crash, including an eight-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl, along with a 36-year-old woman. Several other people were also hurt in the accident.

Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. If it is determined that the accident occurred because of the negligence of another person, the family of the victims may be entitled to compensation. Additionally, anyone injured in the crash may be able to collect compensation.

Car accidents are often frightening and difficult to deal with, but are even more difficult to deal with when they involve fatalities. Losing a loved one in a car accident can be life-changing. The emotional toll it can take on family members can be unbearable, especially if those family members are struggling to pay funeral expenses or are trying to determine how they will make up for any lost income.

Families may feel helpless at first, but working with an experienced personal injury attorney may prove to be highly beneficial. Although no amount of money can take away the pain felt by family members after they have lost a loved one, compensation may help ease any financial burdens.
